Children in Need in London 2011

Laughing for Children in Need at Covent Garden on 5th November.  

This event was great fun and raised around £400. It was attended by Julie, Mary Adshead, Heike and Momo, Cathy Collymore  and Liza Moon who with Pudsey and supporters laughed a lot for several hours.

Our only disappointment was that CG had had the seats around where we were laughing varnished, and as they were still sticky, the area was condoned of with red and white warning tape which wasn’t any form of inducement for people to gather around.

Still we didn’t let it deter us, a few folks came and laughed with us and many people spoke to us and were really happy that we were doing this event.

I am really looking forward to working with Care For Carers and Stepping Out again - really rewarding as such a fantastic group of people up for anything!
