This is how we laughed in 2011:
Chichester Laughter Club celebrated World Laughter Day 2011 at Hamblin Hall near Bosham where the group meet regularly once a month. This year the sun was shining bright and everyone was in a happy mood, compared to last year when the wind was blowing, rain was pouring down and it was freezing cold! This year the bluebells were blooming, the trees were in full bright green leaf, the birds were singing and laughter filled the air.

Lisa who has run the club for over three years now had almost 30 people of all ages from all areas joining her for this special laughter day, including her two young boys who are regulars. Lisa is great at thinking of new ideas and as it had been the Royal Wedding we started off playing a warm up game of Bride, Groom & Royalty where you had to swap places when those names were called. We all gave ourselves very silly Royal names like Duchess of Daftness and Lady Ponsonby Big Bottom. Everyone enjoyed a sing song to “Get me to the Church on Time” with appropriate actions to go with the words and we laughed our heads off in Laughter meditation.
Its always lovely to laugh outdoors, so after our cup of tea or coffee kindly prepared by Lisa’s lovely husband Ed we went outside to do swinging laughter, Mexican wave and other fun games.
A photo opportunity at the front of the Hall could not be passed over with Flags from all over the world flying to remind us that we are one big Happy International Laughing Family.
